2010 is starting off great and we're hoping it will continue for the remaining 11 months.
Awhile back we were contacted and asked if we would take leather that would otherwise be thrown away. We're not stupid, of course we said YES!
Now, we have over 4,000 pounds of blue, black and some brown leather. We're starting to reuse what we have but we wanted to ask you for ideas. Do you know of an organization that could use this leather to benefit children, animals or a community? Do you have a clever idea on how to make something from leather?
If so, please contact us at info@refusedreused.com or visit our website at http://www.refusedreused.com
I have posted a few pictures of what we're starting to do with the leather. We've made purses (or I should stay we're starting to make purses) and pillows. We have also donated 200 pounds of leather to the Boy Scouts in Arizona. Next we're gearing up to work with the Southern Arizona Humane Society on a leather project to help raise money and benefit their organization and the animals up for adoption.
Anything you may suggest, we're open to all ideas.
Thank you for taking the time to read this. :-)
